On stage and behind it, the same work: finding the breath a text needs and the group of people who can hold it.

Athens, Paris, Marseille — and the French stages that followed. The trajectory is a geography as much as a repertoire.

The beginning of a journey

In Paris, Bernard-Marie Koltès opened a door.

In 2013, I walked through it.

What began as an encounter with Koltès became the Roberto Zucco Project — a collective artistic journey born in Paris, bringing together twelve young actors around a shared desire: to create, to search, to encounter one another through theatre.

I was drawn to Roberto Zucco not as a portrait of a criminal, but as a disturbing figure moving through the fractures of contemporary society — between freedom and confinement, intimacy and violence, desire and isolation.

My direction began there: with the body, the word, the space between people.

The project grew from the rehearsal room into an artistic and intercultural journey, connecting Paris and Greece.
